Franck Muller launches Grand Central Tourbillon

Franck Muller launches a new tourbillon watch, the Grand Central Tourbillon, which features a unique "central tourbillon" structure that makes the slowly rotating tourbillon the visual focus on the dial.

The Cintrée Curvex barrel case has been redesigned with slender and smooth lines, and the upper and lower ends of the watch mirror extend to the lugs, making the dial more spacious and open. The case is made of carbon fiber with a fine texture. The black and gray stripes of carbon fiber create a subtle texture that is both charming and elegant, and abstract and casual.

The lacquered dial is paired with eye-catching oversized Arabic numerals, and the embossed guilloché texture radiates from the inside out to form a spiral pattern, echoing the rotation of the tourbillon. Since the tourbillon occupies the center of the dial, the pointer gear system has also been modified accordingly. The pointer is installed on the edge of the tourbillon, as if floating above the dial.

Equipped with a self-made FM CX 40T-CTR automatic movement, the watch has a frequency of 28,800 vph and provides a power reserve of up to 4 days.

It is paired with a fluoro rubber tailored nylon strap and a new version of the brushed folding clasp.
